Bio Singer / Songwriter / Tenor / Falsetto Ron Fowler was born in New York City and raised in White Plains, New York. As a boy, he sang in both his school chorus and the church choir. While in high school, he sang with the Blazers (an a cappella group). Later he studied voice, privately in New York City with Sam Harkness and Gill Scott Cumberland, and participated in many group workshops conducted by Phil Orlic. Professionally, Ron has fronted with various area bands, primarily with the New York Connection, Family Affair and Christina. All eight to fifteen piece bands. Credits. Ron has opened for the Rock N Roll Band, Alive & Kickin', Johnny Maestro & The Brooklyn Bridge, Little Anthony, and New York City cabaret artist, Dianna Templeton. He has also performed at the world famous Apollo Theater in New York. This performance highlight led to a request return performance. With the fifteen piece band, Christina, he fronted memorable performances at the landmark industry favorite, Le Bar Bat in New York City. Ron is a featured artist on Christina Gautet's CD Dance In The Wind. Ron's New York Engagements have included, Westchester Country Club, Whippoorwill Country Club, Mt. Kisco Country Club, Dockside Club, Davenport Club, Larchmont Shore Club, Playwright Tavern, The Grotto, Danny's Skylight Room, Dillon's, Sweetwater's, Plainview Holiday Inn, Forest Hills Country Club, Reception House, Terrace on the Park, Surf Club, Camp Fire Club of America, Italian Men's Club, N.Y. Athletic Club, Antonee's on Broadway, Arturo's 19th Hold, Sea Side, Johnny's Pavilion, Mitty's Restaurant, Spadafino's Restaurant, Johnny O's Cafe, Oscar's Cafe, Mango's Cafe, Cafe Suano, Mi Gente Lounge, and many more. self-contained musician (vocalist/DJ and Karaoke host) performing at various
functions, private and public, throughout the tri-state area. Ron is a
